Privacy policy
What we store
Your name, an optional photo, your phone number and email, and your kids' first names and optional ages. For each parent you save as a contact: the name you give them, their kids' names and ages, an optional phone number, and an optional note about where you met. Your favourite locations, and the plans you create or are told about.
Who can see it
Your contact list, your favourite locations and the labels you give them are private to you. No other parent can see them. When you share a plan, the parents you choose see the plan details, your name and photo, and which of your kids is coming. Nothing in Swing By is public, and there is no way to discover strangers.
Text messages
If a parent you save has no Swing By account, we can send them a text with the plan and a private link. Every text explains how to stop them. Replying STOP stops all Swing By texts to that number permanently, no matter which parent saved it.
Tracking
We use no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies, which is why you were not asked to accept cookies.
Deleting everything
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. It removes your profile, your kids, your contacts and favourite locations immediately, and cancels any plans you organised, telling everyone you had let know. Other parents' own private notes about you stay theirs.
